Protibha, with Chef’s Table Creators Hub and Aqua Paints, hosted a Rickshaw Art Workshop at Chef’s Table Courtside, Dhaka.
The day-long event was held in two sessions and engaged 60 participants, including students, young professionals, families, and art enthusiasts. Guided by master artists, participants explored the bold motifs, vivid colours, and creative techniques of one of Bangladesh’s most recognisable art forms.
All participants were provided with materials, step-by-step guidance, and certificates of participation. Light refreshments created a warm, community-driven atmosphere.
One attendee reflected: “I’ve always admired Rickshaw Art on Dhaka’s streets, but creating it myself was a completely different experience. It felt like I wasn’t just making art, but also becoming part of Bangladesh’s cultural story.”
The enthusiasm around the workshop underlined Protibha’s commitment to preserving traditional crafts while creating platforms for engagement with heritage. The event’s main outcome was fostering hands-on appreciation of Rickshaw Art, strengthening community ties, and empowering artisans. By promoting cultural pride, Protibha ensures that Bangladesh’s artistic traditions will not only survive but continue to inspire and enrich future generations.
